Walk Through Next Friday!

Just found out that our walk through will happen next Friday! The build will have only taken about 4 months allowing for the xmas shutdown. Amazing. :)

Another shot of the front

Here's another shot of the front of the house with the garage and doors closed. We're not sure if the front door should be a light colour, to match the garage, or whether it's ok like it is. Watch this space. The photos are off a camera phone so are poor quality.

They've also completed all the floor tiling downstairs...

Front Painted

Here's a photo of the front of the house, as they've just done the painting today. You can also see they've done the preparation for the concreting of the driveway.

Painting, Plumbing, Splashback

So the painting has been started on the inside, the plumbers have put baths, toilets & taps in. The kitchen splash back is also on. It seems that something has been happening on site almost everyday. Full credit to our site supervisor for organising everyone so well.

So straight on to the photos...

Small update

So a few more bits and pieces have been done this week, so here's a few photos.

The Ice Snow caeserstone benchtops have gone in and look very nice from what we can see under the sheeting.

And here's the waterfall end that we paid extra for.

And in case you haven't seen enough yet, another kitchen shot.

Tiling in the laundry.

Our SS arranged for this angled piece of gyprock under the stairs to be extended so it's flush with the ends. See photo below of what it looked like before. This was done at no expense to us and we didn't even ask for it to be done. A small change, but I definitely think the end result looks better.

Our feature wall in the ensuite shower.

And another shot of the feature wall.

The main bathroom feature tiling, which was extended from shower height to full wall height this week. A definite improvement.
This was the shower height tiling, that didn't really look finished.

More Tiling

There's been a bit more progress this week.

This is a shot to show the size of the kitchen...

And another one...

They've done the gyprock under the stairs, and put the door on the understairs cupboard...

The feature tiling in the main bathroom shower...

The bath & vanity unit in the main bathroom...

The ensuite. The black wall in the shower will eventually be a full wall of feature tiling...

The external version of the tiles in the bathroom have been used on the porch and balcony as shown here...

And a shot of the house now all the scaffolding has been removed. Like the bright green doors? :)
